Cernunnos

A depiction of Cernunnos, the Celtic deer-man god of nature, hunting, masculinity, and wealth. I wanted to design him as he would appear in the Victorian era, giving him a gun rather than a bow and arrow.

"King of Fey Woods" is a title I gave Cernunnos in a series of historic fantasy stories I am working on that take place in the Georgian and the Victorian United States. the Fey Woods refers to the forests of Western Pennsylvania where the vale separating the Mortal Realm and the Fairy Realm is very weak.
